A framed oil painting on board by Charles Jean Agard (1866-1950) entitled 'Maisons en Hiver'. Signed by the artist. Agard was a post-impressionist, specialising in landscapes. He studied at the Beaux Arts in Paris and started to exhibit his work in 1893 in the Salon des Independants and latterly at the Salon of the Societe Nationale des Beaux Arts, among other galeries.
